During the early weeks of the COVID-19 panic, I ran out of fresh canvases while in lockdown. I gessoed over a few older and incomplete paintings to have more surfaces to work on. I reserved a good amount of the original painting in this piece and further added to it. The collage paper is from a book page and inked, pressed-flower prints.
