Black & White
Sold. There was a moment while in the mountains that my husband and I encountered a doe unexpectedly less than 6 feet away. She was so close to us and we all froze, staring one another in the eye. She was beautiful, graceful, yet cautious and assertive. The moment was over before we knew it, but not before I was able to snap her picture. Unable to shake her challenging stare, I just knew I had to paint her.
I painted this portrait with black and white acrylic paint, using a large brush and pole to paint from a distance.
